RockSolid keeps management and DBAs informed via email and SMS, provided this information has been included in their user profile. There are three types of information users can have automatically sent to them:
- Service Request notifications
- Subscribing to Events
- Scheduling Reports
SERVICE REQUEST NOTIFICATIONS
When Service Requests are raised the assigned user will automatically be notified of any activity relating to the Service Request. Other users can be added to the Notifications List, so that they are also kept informed.
SUBSCRIBING TO EVENTS
Users can request to be notified when certain events occur. This is particularly useful for events that do not lead to a service request being raised.

SCHEDULING REPORTS
Users can schedule reports to be run at a later date, as a one off or reoccurring, and sent to them via email.
