| Oracle Database Administrator |

| Red Rock DBA Consultants are involved in project related work, implementing new applications such as Oracle R11i, Oracle Web Applications and other Oracle technology applications. |
| |
| From our DBA's we expect: |
- A minimum of 2 years experience with Oracle Applications
- Solid knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Java, SQL*Loader, Unix Shell Scripting
- A thorough overall understanding of the architecture and support of Oracle Applications
- Oracle Certified Professional (DBA)
- Experience in installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle software and related products
- Experience in establishing and maintaining sound backup and recovery policies
- Database design and implementation
- Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
- Capacity planning
- Setup and maintain documentation and standards
- A good understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and tools
- Understanding of the underlying operating system and of the physical database design
- Knowledge of Oracle data integrity
- Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle
